116 Days before Christmas

September 1, 2011 – The Ber Months begins now. Filipinos all around the world are very excited about the very long Christmas Season here in the Philippines. From Print and TV ads, from the hosts of different TV shows, all of them are announcing that the Ber months has begun.

Even yesterday, I’ve watched different show in ABS-CBN, Ber months is a hot issue. This is the season where Filipinos prepare gifts for their children, the Ninong and Ninang starts to make a list of their “inaanak”, and every people is now thinking of having Christmas decorations in their houses.

After 3-5 days, you will see at night on the streets, delightful Parols. You will also hear different Christmas songs played on radio and even on TV. Despite all the problems we have now in our lives, we still have the time to prepare for the birth of our Lord Jesus.

We learned how make things possible just to celebrate the Christmas Season with our whole family. We learned how to forgive for anyone who did bad things to us. And I think that’s the true meaning of Christmas. It’s about love, hope and forgiveness.

Lets start the Countdown! 116 Days Before Christmas!
